Life's challenges can throw us off balance. We are wired to heal in connection to others - you don't have to navigate these difficulties alone.

My therapy services offer a safe and supportive space for you to creatively explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we'll delve into the root of your challenges, using a holistic approach that supports lasting change, not just bandaid solutions.

After the consultation, we’ll schedule an initial assessment which is a chance for me to get to know you and help you figure out and set personal goals to work on during therapy. Depending on your needs and preferences, we’ll meet for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly counseling appointments. Sessions are $135 and I am in-network with Anthem/BCBS.

Embodied healing

Are you seeking a deeper layer of healing beyond traditional therapy? Do you sense unresolved emotions or stress lingering in your body, impacting your daily life? If so, embodied healing might be the key you've been searching for.

This gentle, body-based approach is distinct from traditional psychotherapy. Instead of solely focusing on thoughts and emotions, we work directly with the body's sensations and nervous system responses. This allows us to safely access, understand, and release patterns of trauma and stress that might be holding you back.

HERE'S WHAT SETS EMBODIED HEALING APART:

  • Somatic Experiencing: The framework of Somatic Experiencing (SE), a gentle and titrated process that helps you gradually build awareness and capacity to experience and resolve trauma or stress patterns stored in your physiology. SE is a therapeutic modality that focuses on healing trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress through a “bottom up” approach rather than a “top down” approach. Instead of intellectualizing trauma, we heal it on a nervous system level. We use expanded, whole-body awareness, movement, imagery, and meaning to increase one’s ability to navigate traumas while emphasizing nervous system flow and stabilization.

  • Complementary to Other Healing Practices: This approach can be highly beneficial even if you're already working with a therapist or other healer. It offers a complementary perspective, allowing you to access deeper layers of healing.

  • Gentle and Respectful: We prioritize creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your body's wisdom at your own pace. This ensures a gentle and respectful journey towards healing.

Are you ready to explore a body-centered approach to emotional well-being? Join our upcoming 8-week group on holistic emotional regulation. We'll dive into the principles of Somatic Experiencing (SE) to help you better manage stress and find greater resilience.

What is Somatic Experiencing?

Somatic Experiencing is a gentle therapeutic approach that focuses on the connection between your mind, body, and nervous system. SE can help you release unresolved stress and tension, supporting improved emotional regulation and overall health.
